Eight Line Riddle Competition
Enter your answer in the short form below. Entry to the prize draw is completely free (no purchase necessary). Open to individuals aged 16 or over who are residents of the United Kingdom (UK) with the exception of employees of the Gay Men's Health Collective (GMHC), their partners, families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Further terms and conditions below.
One entry per person: Multiple entries will not be counted.
The draw: The draw will run for 12 months (1 draw per month) from July 2025 to July 2026.
Closing date: All entries must be received by 24:00 on the last day of the month.* Entries received after this will not be counted.
Winner selection: A winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on the first day of the month. No entrant may win more than one prize. Non winning entrants will not be rolled over to the next draw.
The prize: An A2 framed copy of the print signed by the artist, Walter Walrus. There is no alternative, including cash, or any form of remuneration.
Data submitted and privacy: GMHC will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw. Entry details will only be used to administer the prize draw and will not be shared or retained beyond this purpose.
Claiming the prize: The winner must respond by the 14th day of the month to claim their prize, or a new winner will be selected.
Disqualification: GMHC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in GMHC's opinion) has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of GMHC.
