Self esteem

Self-esteem is about you: your opinion of yourself which often includes your beliefs, abilities and limitations. It's something we feel inside but is shaped, influenced and evolves by external factors over time through relationships, life experiences, culture, religion, and society. Many beliefs you hold about you are often a reflection of messages and experiences you've received from family, partners, friends, and social media, for example. It is natural to feel better about yourself some days more than others, but you want to keep your overall self-esteem in a healthy range.
