Mental health check-in
Before anything, ask yourself: Am I in the right frame of mind to play or go out? Be honest.

Prep the Session

  • Estimate how long the hook-up might last and plan accordingly.
  • Video call new guys to verify profiles — catfish risk is real.
  • Agree an end time with your host and aim to stick to it.
  • Bring some cash to chip in for supplies.
  • Have an exit strategy in case you need to leave fast.
  • Tell someone you trust where you’re going. Carry a ‘next of kin’ card.
  • Add an emergency contact to your phone’s lock screen.
  • Take a photo of the street when you arrive. Try what3words.

Pack Smart

  • Fully charge your phone. Bring a charger, cable, and power bank.
  • Pack backup cash/card and keep it separate from your supply money.
  • Avoid impulse cashpoint withdrawals — risky and traceable.
  • Meds? Take them, bring extra just in case.
  • Mini toiletry bag: tissues, wipes.
  • Condoms, lube, gloves (fisting), douche kit, clean slamming kit.
  • Bottled water, energy bar, mints/gum.
  • Feed your pets.
  • Got a partner? Think up a solid cover story.
  • Poncho — just in case.

Stay Safe

  • Don’t cruise or hunt for new meets when high — you’re more vulnerable.
  • Keep your stuff zipped up and on you.

Plan the Comedown

  • Fresh sheets on the bed before you go.
  • Prep snacks, fruit, hydration tablets or electrolyte drinks.
  • Clean T-shirt, underwear, eye drops, skin moisturiser ready.
  • Replace contact lenses.
  • Pack sunglasses for the daylight walk home.
  • Sexual health check-ups and self-test kits
